Call for presentations and workshop suggestions.

The organizational committee of FOSSCOMM 2021 calls on Free/Open Source Software communities and anyone else interested to submit a presentation/workshop application at https://pretalx.2021.fosscomm.gr/fosscomm-2021/cfp before 4 November 2021. This year’s FOSSCOMM 2021 will be hosted online by the University of Macedonia between 13 and 14 November 2021.

Fosscomm is an annual conference organized by Greek Free/Open Source Software communities. Starting from 2008, there have been 13 Fosscomm conferences in Athens, Larissa, Thessaloniki, Patras, Serres, Athens, Lamia, Piraeus, Athens, Heraklion, Lamia, and Kastoria respectively.

Presentation Setup

Presentations will belong to one of the following categories. There exists no strict limitation, as new categories can be created as needed. The categorization exists simply to facilitate a smoother organization of the talks.

Presentations can last up to 30 minutes, including questions. Note that 30 minutes is simply the upper bound – therefore, a lesser duration is also acceptable. With regard to workshops, the suggested duration is 2 hours. However, any time length between 1 and 2.5 hours is also acceptable.
